Bios

• Gina

  Gina is the on-site owner of The Goddard School located in Mount Airy. She and her husband, Doug have 4 children and are passionate about providing a nurturing and safe preschool environment for children to grow and learn. They are very involved in the community and were thrilled to be able to open The Goddard School here in May of 2014. Gina strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment for the teachers and families throughout the school. We are excited to provide our students with the opportunity to develop into happy and confident learners who are prepared for school and life!

• Lauren

  Ms. Lauren is the Director of Operations & Education here at The Goddard School. She has been with our program since February of 2016. She chose this career because she hopes to be a role model and generate a positive attitude and love for learning for our students. Ms. Lauren graduated from Towson University with a BA in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She also has her certifications in infant/toddlers and preschool/prek. Outside of school, Ms. Lauren enjoys going to sporting events and concerts.

• Caitlin

  Ms. Caitlin is an assistant director and has been with our program since August of 2018. She chose this career because she is passionate about the importance of quality education at an early age to help build a strong foundation for lifetime learning. She has certifications for infant/toddler, preschool/prek, and school age. She also has an associate degree in early childhood education and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree from Liberty. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading a good book!

• Amber

  Ms. Amber has been with our program since August of 2018. She chose this career because she loves helping and watching children grow. She is currently pursuing a bachelors degree in elementary education and has her certification in preschool/prek and infant/toddlers. Outside of school, Ms. Amber enjoys traveling.

• Anna

  Ms. Anna has been with our program since November of 2021. She chose this career because she always wanted to be a teacher since she was little. She feels working with children is rewarding while you see the new things they learn and watching them grow. Ms. Anna has an associate degree in early childhood education and special education. She has her certification in infant/toddlers. Outside of school, Ms. Anna enjoys reading.

• Bonnie

  Ms. Bonnie has been with our program since August of 2018. She chose this career because she loves working with children and learning about them. She has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and has her certifications in preschool/prek and school age. Outside of school, Ms. Bonnie enjoys walking and hiking.

• Brittany

  Ms. Brittany has been with our program since October of 2021. She chose this career because she is eager to make a difference and make an impact on a child’s life. She has her certifications in infant/toddlers and preschool/prek. Outside of school, Ms. Brittany enjoys spending time with her friends and family.

• Britteny

  Ms. Britteny has been with our program since June of 2023. She chose this career to help children love learning. She loves watching them overcome challenges and become their own person. Ms. Britteny has an associate degree in early childhood education and her certification in infant/toddler and preschool/prek. Outside of school, Ms. Britteny enjoys hanging out with friends and family and shopping.

• Cathy

  Ms. Cathy has been with our program since November of 2018. She chose this career because she loves working with children and enjoys watching them reach milestones and grow. Ms. Cathy has her associate degree in early childhood education and has her certifications in infant/toddlers, preschool/prek, and school age. Outside of work, Ms. Cathy enjoys horseback riding, walking, boating, the beach, and spending time with her dog and horse.

• Christina

  Mrs. Christina has been with our program since October of 2020. She chose this career because she enjoys being around children and watching them grow and learn. She has her certification in infant/toddler. Outside of school, Ms. Christina enjoys shopping, spending time with her children, and going to the beach and pool.

• Danielle

  Ms. Danielle has been with our program since November of 2021. She chose this career because she enjoys watching children learn and grow. Ms. Danielle has an associate degree in early childhood education and has her certifications in preschool/prek and school age. Outside of school, Ms. Danielle enjoys spending time with her family and being outside on their farm.

• Danielle (Dani)

  Ms. Dani has been with our program since January of 2015. She chose this career because she wants to make a difference for our future generation. Ms. Dani has her infant/toddler. Preschool/prek, and school age certification. Outside of school, Ms. Dani enjoys going to the beach and shopping.

• Elisabeth

  Ms. Elisabeth has been with our program since April of 2019. She chose this career because she enjoys working with children and watching them learn and grow. Ms. Elisabeth has her certification in preschool/prek. Outside of school, Ms. Elisabeth enjoys being active and outside. She also enjoys hanging out with her dog, friends, and family.

• Emily

  Ms. Emily has been with our program since August of 2014. She chose this career because she enjoys watching children grow and the milestones they achieve. She has her certification in infant/toddler and preschool/prek. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her children.

• Hannah

  Ms. Hannah has been with our program since January of 2019. She chose this career because she loves learning and growing with each child. She enjoys seeing their big smiles and feels that each day is a reward in itself! She has her certifications in infant/toddler, preschool/prek, and school age. Outside of school, Ms. Hannah loves painting, exploring nature, and creating nail designs.

• Jason

  Mr. Jason has been with our program since May of 2023. He chose this career to be a positive role to young minds. Mr. Jason has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and his certification in preschool/prek. Outside of school, Mr. Jason enjoys drawing, art, video games, and movies.

• Jennifer (Jenn)

  Ms. Jenn has been with our program since July of 2023. She chose this career because she is passionate about working with children and finds it exciting to watch them grow and develop. Working with children, she knows she will always have a smile while in the classroom. Ms. Jenn has a bachelor’s degree in sociology and is currently pursuing a masters in elementary education. She has her certification in preschool/preK. Outside of school, Ms. Jenn enjoys spending time with family and her dogs and traveling to new places.

• JJ

  Mr. JJ has been with our program since March of 2018. He chose this career because he enjoys working with children and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in physical education. Mr. JJ has an associate degree and has his certification in school age. Outside of school, Mr. JJ enjoys exercising, sports, and video games.

• Jordyn (Jordy)

  Ms. Jordy has been with our program since August of 2020. She chose this career because she has always enjoyed working with children because watching them grow and learn new things is so rewarding. It’s humbling to know that we as teachers are helping to build the foundation of the future through today’s children. Ms. Jordy has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and certifications in infant/toddler, preschool/prek, and school age. Outside of school, Ms. Jordy enjoys riding horses and spending time with her husband and daughter, Paisleigh.

• Katie

  Ms. Katie has been with our program since November of 2019. She chose this career because she loves working with children and being a part of their growth and development. Ms. Katie has a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer science. She also has her certifications in preschool/prek and school age. Outside of school, Ms. Katie enjoys coaching field hockey and ceramics.

• Kristina

  Ms. Kristina has been with our program since April of 2023. She chose this career because she loves watching children learn and grow. Ms. Kristina has her preschool/prek certification. Outside of school, Ms. Kristina enjoys spending time with friends and family and traveling.

• Madison (Maddie)

  Ms. Maddie has been with our program since August of 2018. She chose this career to strengthen her skills as she pursues her degree in early childhood education. Ms. Maddie has her certifications in preschool/prek and school age. Outside of school, she enjoys motocross!

• Meghan

  Ms. Meghan has been with our program since August of 2022. She chose this career because she loves teaching children and watching them meet milestones. Ms. Meghan has a bachelor's degree in European History and is working towards a masters degree in Secondary Education Social Studies. She has her certifications infant/toddler, preschool/prek, and school age. Outside of school, Ms. Meghan enjoys spending time with her family and reading.

• Roshelle

  Ms. Roshelle has been with our program since November of 2021. She chose this career because she enjoys working with children and helping them learn and grow. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree and has her certification in infant/toddlers and preschool/prek. Outside of school, Ms. Roshelle enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

• Sara

  Ms. Sara has been with our program since August of 2018. She chose this career because she loves to help children learn, grow, and be excited about school. Ms. Sara has her certifications in infant/toddlers, preschool/prek, and school age. Outside of school, Ms. Sara spends a lot of time with her family and making memories with friends.

• Savannah

  Ms. Savannah has been with our program since August of 2018. She chose this career to make a difference and inspire future generations. She has an associate of arts and science and is currently pursuing a degree in psychology. She also has her certification in preschool/prek. Outside of school, Ms. Savannah enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with family.

• Shelly

  Ms. Shelly has been with our program since September of 2014. She chose this career because she loves to watch children grow and learn new things. Ms. Shelly has her certification in infant/toddler. Outside of school, Ms. Shelly enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, gardening, and taking care of her chickens.

  Ms. Abby has been with our program since January of 2023. She chose this career because she enjoys working with kids and watching them learn. Outside of school, Ms. Abby enjoys being active and being outdoors.

• Alexandra (Ali)

  Ms. Ali has been with our program since January of 2024. She chose this career because she loves working with children and she grew up in a big family! Outside of school, Ms. Ali enjoys spending time with her friends and family and listening to music.

• Alyssa

  Ms. Alyssa has been with our program since September of 2023. She chose this career because she loves helping the children learn and grow into their own unique selves. Outside of school, Ms. Alyssa enjoys reading, drawing, and hanging out with friends.

• Ashley

  Ms. Ashley has been with our program since March of 2024. She chose this career because she loves working with children. Outside of school, Ms. Ashley loves to spend time with her family.

• Braelynn

  Ms. Braelynn has been with our program since August of 2022. Ms. Braelynn chose this career because she has always had a passion to work with children. She never fails to have a smile on her face while working with children. Ms. Braelynn is pursuing an Associates Degree in business. Outside of school, she enjoys working out and spending time with her friends.

• Brandalynn

  Ms. Brandalynn has been with our program since December of 2023. She chose this career because she enjoys working with children and seeing how young minds can change the world. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. Outside of school, Ms. Brandalynn enjoys playing guitar and exploring new places.

• Cailin

  Ms. Cailin has been with our program since January of 2024. She chose this career because she loves working with kids and watching them grow and succeed. Outside of school, Ms. Cailin enjoys playing lacrosse, hanging out with her friends, and participating in the nursing program at her high school.

• Elizabeth (Ellie)

  Ms. Ellie has with been with our program since January of 2024. Ms. Ellie chose this career because she loves being around children and getting to make a difference in so many children's lives. Outside of school, Ms. Ellie loves to dance and travel with her family.

• Emalie

  Ms. Emalie has been with our program since October of 2020. She chose this career because she enjoys the positivity and rewards of working with children. Ms. Emalie has an associate of arts and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in art education. She also has her certification for infant/toddlers. Outside of school, Ms. Emalie enjoys running and spending time with her friends and family.

  Ms. Emma has been with our program since October of 2021. She chose this career to create new relationships with the children while having the opportunity to watch them grow. Ms. Emma has an associate degree in elementary and special education and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Liberty. She has her certification in infant/toddlers. Outside of school, she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her family.

• Gabriella (Gabby)

  Ms. Gabby has been with our program since December of 2023. She chose this career because she loves caring for young children. Outside of school, Ms. Gabby enjoys going to the beach and reading.

• Grace

  Ms. Grace has been with our program since March of 2024. She chose this career because she loves to feel like she is making a difference and enjoys having fun with the class! Ms. Grace has her bachelor's degree in psychology. Outside of school, she enjoy painting and riding horses.

• Hailey

  Ms. Hailey has been with our program since September of 2023. She chose this career because she enjoys spending time with kids and making them laugh. Outside of school, Ms. Hailey enjoys baking and spending time with friends and family.

• Jenna

  Ms. Jenna has been with our program since October of 2023. Ms. Jenna was previously with our program before completing her Bachelor's degree in psychology. She chose this career because she wants to help shape little minds as they grow. Outside of school, Ms. Jenna enjoys exercising and spending time with friends.

  Ms. Jordan has been with our program since June of 2023. She chose this career because she enjoys working with children. Ms. Jordan has her preschool/prek certification. Outside of school, Ms. Jordan enjoys hanging out with her friends and family and playing with her pets.

  Ms. Karoline (Koko) has been with our program since November of 2022. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Helwan University. She has her certification in preschool/prek. Outside of school, Ms. Koko enjoys spending time with her family.

• Kylie

  Ms. Kylie has been with our program since January of 2024. She chose this career because she loves working with children and building relationships with them. Outside of school, Ms. Kylie enjoys working out and spending time with her friends.

• Lindsey

  Ms. Lindsey has been with our program since August of 2021. She chose this career because she always has enjoyed being around children and coaching them. Ms. Lindsey has an associate degree in nursing and is pursuing a bachelors. Outside of school, Ms. Lindsey enjoys hanging out with friends and family and playing softball.

• Mackenzie

  Ms. Mackenzie has been with our program since November 2022. She chose this career because she loves working with children and it is exciting to watch them grow and play. Outside of school, Ms. Mackenzie enjoys arts and crafts and reading.

  Ms. Morgan has been with our program since August of 2022. She chose this career because she loves watching the kids learn and grow. Ms. Morgan has her certification in infant/toddlers. Outside of school, Ms. Morgan enjoys hanging out with family and friends, shopping, and going to the beach.

• Paige

  Ms. Paige has been with our program since June of 2023. She chose this career because she plans to go to college to study education and become a teacher. She is a senior at Oakdale High School and plays for their varsity lacrosse team.

• Peyton

  Ms. Peyton has been with our program since March of 2024. She chose this career because she wanted an opportunity to work with children. Outside of school, Ms. Peyton enjoys riding her horse and hanging out with her friends.

• Raelyn

  Ms. Raelyn has been with our program since February of 2024. She chose this career because she loves teaching children about all different things and she loves to watch them grow up and do amazing things. Outside of school, Ms. Raelyn enjoys playing with her animals, she owns around 50. She also enjoys playing video games with her boyfriend and spending time with her family and friends.

  Ms. Skyler has been with our program since September of 2023. She chose this career because being around children brings her joy and she loves having the opportunity to create a bond with them. Ms. Sklyer has her preschool and preK certification. Outside of school, Ms. Skyler enjoys going to the beach and hanging out with her friends.

  Ms. Tamyra has been with our program since September of 2022. She chose this career because she enjoys working with the children and being able to help them gain the knowledge they need for when they are older. She is a student athlete at Montgomery College and she is majoring in nursing & child psychology. Outside of school, Ms. Tamyra enjoys spending her time with family and friends.

  Ms. Tori has been with our program of July of 2021. She chose this career for the opportunity to create relationships with the Goddard family and make fun memories with her class. Ms. Tori has her certification in infant/toddler. Outside of school, Ms. Tori enjoys going to the motocross track with her family and going to the gym.
